- Diet pills and appetite suppressants: Certain stimulants and sympathomimetic agents may promote clot formation by increasing blood pressure and heart rate.
- COVID-19 treatments: Although rare, some antiviral and immunomodulatory agents used in COVID-19 management have been linked to thrombotic events.
